The Los Angeles police made an arrest in the famous Beverly Hills estate where Saudi Prince Jawad Abdulaziz Bin Majed Al Saud, is accused of forcing a worker to perform oral sex. According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, the incident was reported by a neighbor who saw a bleeding woman trying to flee from the mansion over the surrounding wall of the mansion while crying out for help.
The arrest of the twenty 28 year old Saudi prince was made on Wednesday with sexual assault charges. He was then released after posting a $300,000 bail the next day.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Police department’s special consul division reported that Saudi Prince Jawad Abdulaziz Bin Majed Al Saud has no diplomatic immunity though no confirmation has been received by the Saudi embassy. The prince is expected to report to the court to face the charges on October 19th. However, efforts to reach him through his phone have been unsuccessful and the information about his lawyer was not available then. A call made to the Saudi embassy neither was successful, as it was not immediately returned. The current whereabouts of the Saudi Prince Jawad Abdulaziz Bin Majed Al Saud are not known. If he travels back to Saudi Arabia, he will not be prosecuted since the U.S government has no extradition treaty with Saudi Arabia.
According to the information the neighbor gave to the Los Angeles Times, the mansion where the events took place is worth $37 million and is often rented out by high net worth individuals such as Saudi Prince Jawad Abdulaziz Bin Majed Al Saud.
