A traffic accident has claimed the lives of twelve soldiers and injured eighteen other Monday night in Ukraine.
Twelve Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 18 others were injured Monday night in a collision between a bus and military vehicles in the eastern Ukraine, said the Ukrainian National Guard in a statement.
“On January 5, during a rotation of volunteers and soldiers of the Ukrainian National Guard (…), military vehicles collided with a bus,”
“The crash was caused by bad weather conditions (…). Twelve soldiers were killed and 18 were wounded “and hospitalized in the city of Artemivsk (Donetsk region)
A commission comprising military investigators, officials of the traffic police and the National Guard of Ukraine was dispatched
